Information we handle
When you use Charie, we may handle account details such as your name, email address and sign-in provider; device and session information used to keep the service secure; and the content you choose to send, save or generate, such as conversations, character preferences, images and short videos.
How we use it
- To provide, personalize and improve Charie characters, conversations and Moments.
- To authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, enforce age and safety rules, and keep the service reliable.
- To understand product performance and fix errors using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
- To respond to support, business and safety requests sent to the team.
Sharing and retention
We may use carefully selected infrastructure and service providers to host data, process sign-in and create requested media. They may access information only to provide services to Charie under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security, then delete or de-identify it when practical.
Your choices
You can contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of your account information, subject to legal and security requirements. You can also stop using Charie at any time. Send requests to [email protected].
Adults only
Charie is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.
